About

"Unlocking human potential in the workplace through systems and strategy."

Background

“Most of us have two lives. The life we live, and the unlived life within us. Between the two stands Resistance.” –Steven Pressfield

I’ve always wanted to know how to unlock this “unlived life.” My religious upbringing taught me that each individual is divinely and purposefully created, and I felt unsettled by how many people with abundant opportunity seemed to live far below their potential. I didn’t always know what I or others were capable of, but I wanted to find out. – Elijah Corless

Elijah's interest in business was forged through an intensive study of hundreds of volumes on strategy and organizational leadership. He noticed a defining pattern: the most impactful thinkers were not merely writing about ideas; they were actively implementing them through consulting and institutional transformation. This realization led him to management consulting, with a dedicated focus on how leaders unlock human potential in the workplace.

He approaches organizational growth through a consistent, systems-driven lens: the success of any strategy depends on whether people understand it, believe in it, and possess the infrastructure to execute on it. His work bridges the gap between strategy and culture through the operational systems that drive performance at the individual level.

A graduate of the BYU Marriott School of Business, Elijah served as President of the Management Consulting Association, training 100+ students on the rigors of consulting recruitment. His professional trajectory spans AI-driven financial modeling at Spero CFO and workforce transformation at PwC, leading to his current role as an incoming Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company.

Outside of work, Elijah prioritizes time with family and friends and is a committed hybrid athlete, balancing high-intensity weightlifting with endurance training for a sub-3:30 marathon. A student of music with over 13 years of experience, he also finds clarity through playing the guitar and piano.
